I’m starting the preparation for a new micro season of Geopats. Although we’ve had many themed episodes including books, social media, and of course, coffee, I’m returning to a recent them: adults who’ve lived abroad AND grew up with immigrant parents. The absolute first few things I do for a new season is
Believe it or not, this can often be one task. Here’s how:
😎 Finding the right guests: I’ve got a healthy social media presence, so I added posts like this to my Twitter, LinkedIn and local Copenhagen Facebook group. And when possible, I pin the post to those social accounts, so it’s the first thing new visitors see. 😜Marketing= sharing the project online By publically posting the request for guests WITH a link to a similar episode this guest finding post turns into marketing. I view marketing as attracting the right folks to a specific project, NOT getting millions of people to consume my content. My content has never been nor will ever be for the masses. I’m searching for genuine connections, not fame. 🤐 I'll do another post soon on the process once a potential guest contacts me.
