I love using ChatGPT for this type of task and wanted to share with you the details of how I do it with the ChatGPT voice prompt on my Android phone.

First, here's the before and after show notes output. Below is the full episode info, if you're curious to hear (literally) how we got here.
Before and after show notes from the below episode
  • Before (ChatGPT’s first attempt to write the show notes from my voice prompt info): In this heartfelt episode, Rachel sits down with Julia to discuss her seven-year journey with uveitis, an autoimmune retina disorder. They explore the balance of grief and joy as Julia navigates the medical challenges, enduring numerous surgeries and grappling with feeling like a burden while keeping her condition hidden. Because of these challenges, Julia finds solace in creative outlets like her newsletter, dancing, and building online community spaces to support others facing similar challenges.
  • After (my many edits IN ChatGPT and outside of it as well): In this heartfelt episode, Rachel sits down with Julia Edelman to discuss her seven-year journey with uveitis, an autoimmune disorder affecting the retina. They explore the roller coaster of emotions Julia has experienced through the medical challenges and numerous surgeries. She expresses difficult emotions, such as feeling like a burden to her caregivers during her procedures, but also shares uplifting experiences like finding creative outlets through her newsletter, dancing, and building online community spaces to support others facing similar health challenges.

What do you think? Can you see the difference prompt chaining can do to ChatGPT’s initial output?
